It was kinda forced on me, well us, and god willing, will be able to get back working as and when/if I want.
It hasnt really sunk in yet, cos of this virus, Mrs R, and the crap weather, so the "joys" of it are limited to feeling fine financially and being able to keep her safe.
And the wild garden just glares at me!

I remember when you could get the bus there and back from Edge Hill to Garston on a Friday night, buy 5 woodbines and a box of matches, go
to the pictures at the Empire, go to Goodison Park in the boys pen the next day and still have enough to buy the programme with 5 shillings pocket money.

Ye think I am about the oldest.Was stationed in Kowloon,then on active service in Malaya, which I wouldn't wish on anyone, I can remember the rationing when I was a kid, and no one had anything, and when I see the way people are now because of the Corona virus,I dispair I really do.
