The current bottom 3 came up last season.
They were all at home to mid table clubs
All 3 lost
GD 1-12

Either - it doesn't say much for the championship
Or
The money in the Premier League is killing their much vaunted Pyramid
Or
One day the Premier League might go totally franchise-tastic and do away with promotion and relegation.

iirc, when the Rugby League went to franchises Widnes were 'told' to merge with bitter local rivals Warrrington
Widnes - to their eternal credit told them to stuff their super League if it meant merging with their hated rivals

As far as I can see franchises are area based - one per area!

Think the ones who come down will improve eqch season but is a massive gap starting. Think teams like leeds ipswich burnley shef united sunderland southampton. Will just go down and come back up. I do think is a chance for leeds maybe sunderland to over take some teams because of the stadium and money comey in. But do think the top of the table from mid table will pull away.

The yank owners will definitely want no relegation, like they tried with ESL. But need UEFA on board as you need relegation in the league to be able to play in UEFA competitions as far as I know

Not crazy to suggest Forest and Bournemouth will be in CL spots assuming PL gets the fifth qualifier.

I don’t think I’ll totally relax until we are mathematically safe but the evidence so far this season suggests two of the bottom 4 are not overhauling us in the remaining games.
