Its weird to look at points and wins as the difference between teams???

It’s weird to suggest that a league table after 8 or 9 games is the absolute definitive verdict on which sides we will finish above/below.
Personally think Palace will finish above us.

Absolutely stinks of their first win.

I think it will be like Burnley away last season. Low block and deny them space to play and hurt them on set pieces.

I'd be hugely disappointed if that game isn't won and it then piles on the pressure given December is approaching.

West Ham are poor currently and should be 0-3 down to Man. United at half time (yes they've been that bad) but you can't say going there will be a certain win.

Just plodding along at a point a game, I'm sure Lampard had more after 9 games in 22/23?

The southampton game is massive. Because regardless what guardiola was talking about how good their style is, we need to win that game. Their style is pointless for a side of their ability in the prem. The 3 promoted sides are by far the weakest and Wolves and palace will pick up wins. We need to be getting maximum points against all 3 of the newly promoted teams.

How in the world are we amongst the worst 4 sides, when we have two wins in 9 matches, and the other 4 have absolutely no wins in an astounding 36 matches?

There you go, Palace won today. Not exactly a wild take that they might actually be better than we are.
