Wasn’t Forest 2nd or 3rd at some point this season? Without depth you risk being a flash in the pan. 7th is great and I’d love it for us. But in the end they’re not playing in Europe and finished 19 points behind the RS. We should look at them as a cautionary tale.
22 losses which is staggering. Apparently that many losses in a season is a record for a team not relegated.I'm astounded by just how poor Spurs have been. They were 9 points ahead of us at the start of December.
Still, it's a team that dictates 12th-17th.
We need to spend big and well this summer to progress.
Pace out wide and ability/composure in the final third.
8th I believeMoyes’ points total had us on track for well above 12th.
Moyes’ points total had us on track for well above 12th.
A season is also 38 games
And Moyes, who only last week was repeating what an achievement it was to remain a Premier League team.
Yes it is, which is why if we had a competent manager for 38 games we wouldn’t have finished 12th-17th.
I disagree.
This team dictates that league position.
It would again next season too.
Thankfully we remain a Premier League team, with new owners who'll invest considerably in transfers we desperately need to climb into the top half.
On the positive...
If Sean Dyche can keep us up when we were 19th with our lowest points total in our history going into Feb, after 11 defeats in 14, then I'm sure whoever comes in can easily do it. After all, apparently our squad is a lot better than that team back then too.
Onwards and upwards.
8th is Europe isn’t it?8th I believe
True though isn't it?
Be a walk in the park for whoever comes in.
Gonna be a sore one for the Dychettes when we do improve under the new manager.
