I remember watching this game in bed, i had done my hip and was fresh out of hospital that day, i was within walking distance of Goodison where we lived, and i kept my window open. You know people eulogise Goodisson says it 'literally rocks ' when it kicks off, i swear to god. The entire street was creaking - 35k evertonians clambering over each other.

I'll never forgot that night.

Your video linked to this, I don't want to get up for the Derby due to the inevitable disappointment but try watching that and not.

I used to love it when Dunc scored and celebrated like a demented badger.

Watching vids like that stil gets me emotional.

Fk it, get the big man on the pitch tomorrow.

LET'S FKN SMASH THESE HORRIBLE GOBSHOITES !!

Legend? Not for me. But we've had this debate.
He's a legend in every sense of the word.

As someone else said above, ' He played for the badge '. Ferguson knew how to play for Everton; he knew what was required and he got it. He knew that being an Everton number 9 was special. Ironically it was another Everton legend who wore the number 9 who kick started his Everton career. For a player so tall, he had great ability and scored some very good goals. Legend in every sense of the word, both on and off the field.

This is a none argument really
