This 100%
I personally think he's will be given a 3 year contract in the summer, as the noise coming out of the club they are happy with Mr mid table
I think someone else may have mentioned this but the first one or two signings will be interesting alongside the contract term they are signed up for. If they are ‘mature’ or experienced and dash in a two year or three year deal that would point to an extended contract for him, I would think.

If younger and slightly longer, than possibly not. More likely I’m overthinking it 😄

He's gotten Bournemouth into the Champions League this season off the back of his own hard work and is turning down a massive contract to stay there. European Football doesn't move the needle for Palace as far as this is concerned imo, he's waiting for a bigger club to make him an offer.

He built Bournemouth into the side they are now in 3 years, while having all of his best players sold and having to rebuild every year. With the backing we could give him and the ability to hold onto our players he could feasibly have us playing good football and competing for Europe by his second season.

And the fear mongering of saying look what happened to us after he left look what happened to West Ham just doesn't make sense to me sorry. When Moyes left here we made a succession of poor managerial appointments, West Ham brought in Lopetegui. I have said multiple times on here I would not just change for the sake of it as sick as I am of Moyes. I wouldn't ditch Moyes for Potter, Frank, whatever other middling managers you can think of. Iraola and Glasner being free agents available in summer represents a real opportunity to do it properly this time.

Us getting Iraola now would be the equivalent for me of Spurs getting Poch from Southampton. This guy (and glasner) are both the real deal as far as I'm concerned.
I honestly hope your right. I can remember how good it felt after Martinez first season, the points total, the goals from Lukaku,Barkley tearing it up in midfield and Deulofeu doing what Deulofeu could do. I couldn't wait until the next season started and how we'd make Champions League...

He isn’t coming to us. (I don’t think he would do well here anyway.)

But he isn’t leaving a Bournemouth that’s hypothetically just qualified for champs to come to us. He will either U-turn and stay with them, or will go to another club in European competition.

Why would he spend 3 years getting a club to Europe to just then not bother with any European football?

Perhaps he’d like some stability. 😀

He can’t u turn they’ve already appointed their next manager. He may leave and take some time out. I suspect they (he and Glasner) both know where they are going but haven’t announced it yet and won’t until season is over

Marco Rose has signed a deal to be the next Bournemouth manager.

I'm not so sure myself. Think he just wants to take a step up to a bigger club with a bit more money where he won't necessarily have half his team sold every summer.

Could be wrong but I dont think he would have an issue with a bit more of a project.

What makes you think we won't be fighting relegation? Our form in this calendar year is bottom 6, our 2 central defenders are both declining at the same time and we have an inflexible manager who is obviously behind the times and is being out thought by most other managers.
I'm not arguing lad, I've never been a Moyes fan, never bought into the knife to gunfight crap and defeatist attitude. I just can't see Friedkin group or Angie's Kinnear upsetting things now after a period of relative stability compared to what went before. All they want is guarantee premier league money with a stadium to pay for.

I'd love Iraoila or someone new and exciting but just can't see it happening.

Moyes will be manager first game of next season. Anyone thinking different is delusional.
