Bang on with that.
If Moyes wants to be great and get top jobs he's got to show he can change and adapt.
Hasn't shown that he can, in Europe it stands out like a sore thumb
It used to stand out, otherwise I agree with you.

Moyes this, Moyes that.. Fact remains that some of the key players were ****e and couldn't be arsed..
I don't give a **** if Moyes had put jags and distin on the right/left wing, there was minimal effort.. It all fell apart when QPR started stringing some passes together.
Players who could be arsed today = Beckford, Barkley, Distin, Baines.
Jags, our anchor played awful (Arsenal on his mind, possibly)
Cahill looked 2 steps slower than everyone.
Osman wouldn't even attempt to win a 50/50 in the air.
As Texas Blade alluded to earlier, we can't deal in absolutes.
Today most of the players were gash, Moyes was gash and our financial gashness had an effect too.
The problem is that most fans refuse to acknowledge all the angles.
At the end of the day all that matters is what happened on the pitch..
Definitely got things wrong today, but still for me...Moyes In.
We know the pattern by now. We'll either stumble through the Carling Cup game or we'll go out. We'll then have 4-6 weeks of erratic form before we start to get a grip and put one or two results together. The Everton job is a really tough one. Moyes knows how to keep our head above water, for all his faults. It's frustrating to watch, but I wouldn't contemplate replacing him if it could at all be helped.
Yup, I'm in the same boat. BUT, he needs to do better with his subs. And he needs to take some risks. He has a tendency to be "safe" a little too much imo. With that said, he's got limited options to work with. Our team and our financial difficulties are hard. He needs to learn and he needs someone to push him. His assistant should be doing that, but maybe Round isn't.
To be honest I think the main problem today was how much we backed off when we didn't have the ball. As soon as we lost it the defensive line went back 30 yards. Hardly any pressing high up the pitch, we were giving the likes of Fitz Hall time to play an easy pass. We used to be decent at that, pinning teams in and overwhelming them with pressure. In fact it's how we scored the majority of our goals. I can only see that as the players' mentality, another **** summer and not great form in preseason has dented their confidence.
