The Moyes Question

Which cos why its ****ing annoying that he's got the squad of good footballers...but doesn't know how to use them, and hasn't got the staff to offer better tactics behind the scenes.

He was boss with limited players playing defensive soils football and getting results

now he has better technical footballers and doesnt know what to do

Great minds and all that...

Moyes out = Bottom half of table, possible relegation.

This team crumbles if Moyes leaves.

I think he does what he can with what he has.. No one knows how fit Saha was for instance, which I'm sure was the reason Fellaini came on for Becks who at the point in the game was wearing brick shoes.

been like it for 3 seasons mate.

you'll have your apologists and excuse makers but the flat out fact cos that he's tactically short

doesn't help with having a **** backroom and not learning from each season

Instant infraction for use of the A-word.

In Moyes I Trust. Continue to do so too.

What "minority".

The vast majority of Evertonians have been aware of his shortcomings for a few years now.

A least those of us who go the match are.

1) EVERY Evertonian is aware of his shortcomings. Doesn't make him a poor coach as you had stated.

2) What's going to the match got to do with it?

I was firmly behind Moyes , I even named my dog after him, but this nagging thought remains that he possibly done all he can. Time for new ideas , it all looks stale and predictable.

I aint gonna knock him , bit everything needs to be freshened up..

I do think our style of play is very similar when we are losing games as well as winning, for me we are a confidence team and need to get into the habit of winning, and the sooner the better.

no one complains about moyes' tactics when we are on a winning run.

ffs I hate you people who say "well you don't go the match then" if we don't agree with you.
I was speaking to some bellend on the bus about moyes just before the end of last season and he said the same to me, I actually had my season ticket on me too but didn't realise until I'd gotten off.

Saying that is just like saying "yeah well your opinion doesn't matter because... YOURE GAY"

Spot on.

Mr. Damon....please point out where I said he was a "poor coach".

Thank you.

Indeed. You can be a good coach but a poor manager. Alan Irvine, for example.

But Damon will just reply with something about Aston Villa and claim you did call him a poor coach or something.

Nope, they just keep their mouth shut, as they rightly should, and wait for it to go pear shaped so they can hop back on the bandwagon.

Really old hat.

Erm... I do. I got slaughtered for it on here.

We've won plenty of time despite some really questionable tactical decisions from Moyes. The result isn't the be all end all.

If we'd have gone on and won 4-1 in the second half, I'd have exactly the same view as I do now but just be breathing a sigh of relief as well.
