The most embarrassing Everton moment 25/26

Well he was not that last year, inspired our club to escape relegation easily.

How many players claim the opposite of what you say? Plenty and frequently.

My view is that he should not have come back, but he has, he’s our manager and I will endeavour to support him until he isn’t. It does not mean I agree with his every decision, but it also does mean that I won’t diss him at every available opportunity, I’ll leave that to the “supporters” that choose to misunderstand that word and frankly wouldn’t know what to do in his position.
A- He is paid to know what to do
B- Most people have eyes and understand well enough to give an opinion
C- You see what they do in training, we are not talking about understanding the universe here, it is a game of football, all views valid.

One of the biggest problems with this club is sentiment.

He wasnt abandoned, maybe you should vent your frustartion at the manager and his teammates for the reason why evryone fked off!
It should be Moyes and the players hanging their head in shame letting their captain down not the fans.

Oh, so because we lost a game that justifies our fans from walking out on our captains retirement?

Our fanbase needs to take a long hard look at itself.

Coleman of all people understands why people left

He didnt look like it.

He looked like he was heartbroken. Club he spent his whole career at and there were maybe 1-2 thousand there to see him off.

There was more people on the concourse getting drunk. Then seeing off our captain for his retirement.

End of season awards tonight at Everton. That's got to be pretty embarrassing for all in attendance.

If we really scrape the barrel are we going for Garner as POTS and, er.. Armstrong (?!) as Young POTS?

The latter category should really be cancelled this season given the lack of opportunity players have been given.

What's the deal with it happening while the season is still in progress?

We will probably finish 14th — absolutely humiliating and nothing whatsoever to celebrate.

Losing to the 💩 at home when they are absolutely dog turd.

Everyone else has a right go at them but Davey thought it a good idea to go out there timidly and show them respect, I'm still furious now.
They have averaged 1.68 goals per game, we conceded 2 both times. They've conceded 1.41 goals per game and we managed 1 in each game.
Good job Everton.

Its more than just a game we have been awful since the break and the football club is more important than any player.

If the club had anything about them they should of done something before the game for him and got people in their early if they wanted to give him a send off.

Coleman getting a 'good' send off is the least of my and many others worries tbh.
As usual though the club think the fans are 'satisfied' because we never fought relegation but the walk out at the end tells you how everyone is feeling.

In fairness he should have done the honest thing and retired several seasons ago. He's known that he has offered nothing to Everton as a reliable player for quite some years now.

This 'bad' send off was easily avoidable.

Anyway, good player in his time, loyal, honest, great role model. But when I look back at Everton in 20-30 years I highly doubt he'll cross my mind.
