As said in other threads, that 3 cannot ever play again.

Their only 'attribute' is hard pressing, disrupting flow and getting in the face of better players, as we saw last season against arsenal.

They don't do this anymore as either they have lost their edge, and/or they are playing to dyche's sole tactic of 'defend the v' that worked for him once so thinks he is mourinho.

The midfield is really poor and this is exacerbated by the full backs being equally as a bad. We've got limited footballers in the middle of the park who are deprived of a simple passing option so they look even more lost.

They need to be able to bring the ball under control first that basic skill seems to be missing.

Worse than when we were playing 2 in the middle for years and begging for 3. Seeing Doucoure galloping around miskicking things, Gana shooting from 20 yards (again) and Onana getting beaten for headers on static jumps by players 6 inches shorter than him is just utterly humiliating.

Any 3 low quality, tough tackling, ugly, un-sexy, low salaried midfield sloggers would be infinitely better. And cheaper.
