OK, LCAB/THT is this the correct status as of Wednesday morning?

OUT
Yakubu - going to Leicester on a season loan, with a view to a permanent transfer in the summer. Fee around £4.5-5 m.
Piennar - going to Tottenham, question remains whether it will be now or in the summer. Or could Chelsea still get him if reports are true?
Neville - going nowhere. Tottenham still want him and are still pushing for a deal

IN
? - Yakubu's replacement is lined up, but nothing has been agreed. Could be Mbokambi from Monaco.
Adam Hammill - deal agreed in principle, but nothing is done yet due to our lack of funds
Charlie Adam - we are not interested?

Out ; 2 from 3 .

Mookambi ; No permit . Dead .

Hammil ; Unlikely for me .

Adam ; Nah . Also nah for me .

We shall of course , see ,..

Happy with the potential Pienaar/Yak situation to be honest, time to cut the contract wranglers/fat lumps out of the squad, especially when we have players (Billy, Gueye, Vaughan? Anichebe) that are desperate for time on the pitch.

In a time of economic turmoil such as this, there's no fcuking point in moaning about not being able to spend £50m when most people can't even afford to feed their kids. Cut the crap, play who wants to be played, football is changing and Everton aren't in the spending pack (Neither are Liverpool & United and they're bigger than Jesus), so lets just do what Everton do, SLOG IT!

I'll come back and rep that later bud, I've been trigger happy past 24 hours it seems. I love when it looks like our backs are against the wall....we always seem to pull something out the bag. With an exception being A Gardiner (not literally)

Brilliantly put mate and +rep

Mbokani has 15 caps for the Congo - I guess that doesn't make the 75% of matches (or whatever). I assume him playing in Monaco avoids any problems with French permits...

Actually he does have 75% of the matches (if you discount a Mickey Mouse African Nations Championship, where the national sides must consist only of domestic players). But this rule counts only for players who come from the top 70 nations in the FIFA World Ranking (and DR Congo has been outside the top 100 for the past 2 years). It would make my day if the appeal of the automatic permit rejection has fallen through, I don't think this happens this fast, though. Mbokani combines the attitude of Anichebe, Vaughan's prowess in front of goal, Saha's creativity and Beckford's aerial capability. He does bring guile and (when he feels like it) a good work rate, but I'd seriously prefer we gave Hallam Hope a chance - after all he's now older than Rooney and Vaughan when they made their debuts.

If Yakubu is supposed to play for Leicester on Saturday, shouldn't something be announced soon? Yesterday Udoh tweeted
Move dependent on Yak himself. Just asked him now via sms and he said nothing yet.
and I'm starting to wonder what's going on.

Hmm, Obinna was rejected a work permit to sign for us last Jan on loan iirc. Then went onto sign for West Ham in the summer?

Something fishy is going on if the same happens with Mbokani.
