Kin'ell Steve.

I thought we liked footballers. The only thing he ever kicked proper was other players. Horrendous player and horrible divvie as well.

So youre saying we've never loved anyone who was a horrendous player and a divvie as well ?

I remember putting Alan Smith, Victor Obinna and Michael Owen into Everton's squad on FIFA at the start of Summer 2008, giddy with excitement at the imminent arrival of all three.

Remember when the 5hite beat us to Sean Dundee?

In the end, Manuel Fernandes. What a saga that was.
when he bailed out on us ( not sure there wasn't so of bill's pound down and tuppence a week shenanigins involved ) did he ever set the world alight, like he did with us in his first spell?? .....he coulda been a contender

N'Zogbia definately!

Bit harsh on Fer. He's been one of Norwich's best players (snide goal asside) still think he could do a job in our squad. Often think a lot of players careers/form etc would of been much better had they ended up here.

Why are you glad we didn't sign a decent striker?

Ah yes Vagner Love
The man, the legend, currently ripping up the Chinese league with 5 goals for Shandong Luneng at the age of 29.
And who only showed signs of promise in the Russian league. I believe Jo did similarly.
Very glad we didn't sign him.

I actually started a thread exactly the same as this one about a year ago dedicated to 'dodged bullets'.
My biggest example at the time, who i triumphantly celebrated not signing, was Aaron Ramsey.
Think I got that wrong.

But yeah Fer (although only because we got JMac)
Alan Smith
Leroy Lita
Barton

We were in for Alan Smith? As in, the Alan Smith who was a potent striker for Arsenal? When was this? Was it towards the end of his career or when he was slotting them away on a regular basis?
