Throughout your time watching Everton away from home. What was the ground you hated going to because of the fan’s reputation?

…the old Stamford Bridge was horrible, dreadful set of fans.
Only went there once, in 78, when Andy King scored after a few minutes in the seasons opener. Glad to get through the day unscathed to be honest, especially the tube journeys. Old Trafford was a hostile ground as well, not helped when our fans started singing the Munich song!

Definitely Leeds United, went there once in the seventies, never again, horrible ground fenced in everywhere for good reason, their fans were vile.

You 100% had to keep your mouth shut both inside and outside the ground and from what I can gather, not much has changed either.

Vile fans, not and ounce of humour in them, just pure hatred of anyone that isn`t them.

It`s no wander why the likes of the EDL and Reform do so well around there.

A lad next to us went down in a heap there.
Bloody everywhere, they were throwing darts at us in the ground.

Police not interested

Got very tasty after the game in the Coach park.

Horrid place.

I would say most away grounds could be tasty, same for away fans coming to Goodison. I didn't fear going to away games but with some you just had to be a little careful and sensible. I didn't have many run ins but when caught up in it I would say my scariest were Newcastle (when they mingled in then kicked off), Wolves in the snow in the 70's, Man Utd league cup qf (77) and Cardiff in the FA Cup 77. All other grounds was head down, don't speak and was fine.
