Went to both games, every minute felt like an hour , horrible days . I’ll always remember a steward telling me before Coventry they were bricking it not just the game but the aftermath if we went down. Peter Johnson wasn’t exactly popular at the time.

Wimbledon game was much better. Looked dead and buried, great come back. The team showed a bit of fight. Bit more optimism afterwards that walker might turn it around in the long run.

Coventry was just absolutely depressing. That era was just absolutely horrific looking back

Agree with that pretty much,though 98 when Barmby missed the pen then Dublin scores mins later didnt help, i was having heart attacks for a few mins

1998 by a million miles, because I stupidly thought I would never live to see anything like 1994 again. I spent the back end of that season convinced that we couldn’t get away with it twice on the trot! Horrible, horrible time football wise.
