“Maybe I have a bit of responsibility by playing too much attacking-minded players and not as many defending-minded players.

Maybe we need to be more boring” Sam Allardyce 13th January

NO shots on target - 3rd game since taking over 30/11/2017
8 goals for, 10 against
5 Games without a win
7 points from the relegation zone.

Everton are sleepwalking into another relegation battle with Allardyce unable to see what’s in front of him.

Transfers of Mirallas and Barkley have left gaps with the squad to register our only alternative left-back, Luke Garbutt, and add to fact we are 13 days into a transfer window with his appointment on the 30th November, he is had his right hand man, Steve Walsh unable to locate a left back for Allardyce liking.

Sam highlighted a striker as a must but dragged his feet despite knowing full well since the summer, Everton lacked a forward and which took longer then required also due to negotiations at board level with Mr Walsh

Sam can’t see the wood for the trees when it comes to the blatantly obvious full back situation, put simply we don’t have these positions filled despite Kenny’s good-ish form, so why insist on playing the squarest of pegs in Martina as left back.

Tactically “Big” Sam has shown he lacks a PLAN B and at 2-0 down chose to shut up shop and include Lennon to help the outfoxed Kenny which lead to another 2 goals rather then make a positive change to push back Spurs freeflowing width but left the completely helpless Martina hung out to dry.

The biggest debate from Wembley seem to be Lookman v Bolasie. Lookman used sparingly but Bolasie given 1st team starts instantly from a horrible injury and I think it is not coincidence since his inclusion Everton have hit a winless run.

Lookman and Vlasic seem to be in the same pool as not worthy for Allardyce added to his comments on Klaassen and Sandro mirror Koeman on Niasse which condemned the dutchman’s lack of man-management and stubbornness to work with signings his right hand man signed off on.

Sam the fireman is adding more petrol to the inferno of Everton and 2 more poor results will make Moshiri’s fire button itchy
