Rubbish. We lose because we’re not good enough. There’s no latent mystery to it. But the fans love tapping into this idea that somehow Everton have this extra special propensity to bottle it. It’s rubbish.

We are SIX points behind United in 5th
with just under half the season left. You think that’s some insurmountable distance and the season is over for Europe. And you have the temerity to accuse the club and players of not having the right mentality?! lol

That just shows how crap the premier league really is.

Because the same type of defeats happen all the time at Everton. Losing to the RS in the semi final a few years back, losing to Wigan 3-0 in the quarter final at home, lose to Arsenal the next year, get thrashed by Dynamo Kiev, lose 2 semi finals against relatively average opposition, Pickford giving VVD a winner on his debut in the 3rd round, giving them a win the next season. There is a continual pattern of us bottling it when it really matters, at a certain point you can't simply blame bad luck or poor refereeing decisions.
This is why we're in this mess, we kept Silva when he should of shown the door ages ago, we could of realistically had a decent chance at going for Europe this season, yet we kept him on so it's too late. Losing at Liverpool in December wasn't a huge deal, considering they have only dropped points once in the league this season. However losing to Liverpool's B team, really is unforgivable. It's like what I said to somebody after we beat West Ham, we'll go to Brighton and lose next week and we did. Our players turn up when they feel like it there is zero pressure on them to actually succeed.
Bear in mind had Silva been dismissed earlier, we wouldn’t have got Ancelotti.

I think most fans with the exception of a few idiots accepted when we lost the final in 2009 with numerous injuries against a fully fit Chelsea squad, that our team that day tried their best. However we've had numerous chances in cup competitions and in big games most notably against the RS to do something. I know City have a poor record at Anfield, but don't you find it funny that teams such as Wolves, Villa, West Brom, Swansea, Southampton, West Ham, Fulham, Palace, Barnsley have beaten Liverpool at Anfield yet we haven't. That's not including the countless teams who have beaten them at their ground, the constant losing to average teams in cup competitions over the years suggests we are bottlers.

Think there would be someone with a camera phone at least
They'd all ran out of batteries mate. They'd been on the beak all day and night and were finally on their way home when they decided to spray ancelloti out on Finch farm walls when they were rumbled

I think it's mainly the fans fault we overpaid on bang average players on long lucrative contracts. My mate Dave is always messing up simple one yard passes in midfield and when he coughs Theo falls over.

For those who like to bash the apparent impatience of our fan base, a group of United supporters have attacked the house of Ed Woodward with flares. This is only a couple of seasons after them winning the europa league and league cup double, they’ve had European football every season, and it’s still only 7 years since their last title.

Meanwhile a group of our fans go to the training ground to have a conversation with the director of football about how we got schooled by Liverpool’s kids and our fans are branded as some of the most entitled and impatient in the league.

We weren't schooled by Liverpool's kids. We should have been 0-2 up at HT. It was not like we got beaten 5-0. Random 'fans' swearing at Delph directly online and acting high and mighty is embarrassing.

Not even the courtesy of sending a flare in the post first. Out of control.
