There is more to our lives than Everton. I am not saying to not be angry/sad/disappointed/distraught or however you feel right now, I'm saying take stock, take a breath. As much as we love the club, many going back generations, having extremely strong familial connections with family, both here and gone, through the club and the experiences it has offered in that time. Nevertheless it is important to remember, that if Everton ceased to exist tomorrow, you would continue on, and if you ceased to exist tomorrow, Everton would continue on.... The bond is important, it is wonderful, it is many things, but it isn't everything you are

Im gonna say this is all my fault. February 22, 2003, almost 20 years ago to the day is when i started supporting Everton. It's been a....20 years.
