I don't understand why this has become an insult.

So what if you're anti-Kenwright? People say it as though it means something to dislike some old fart from Corrie.

i just think it's narrow minded. could kenwright do alot better? of course. However its not just him running things, people like Earl are worse imo. They could actually make solid investment, Bill couldn't even buy us Benteke. He's skint by EPL owner's standards. also whoever is in charge of marketing can do one

If you place yourself as the figurehead to do all the talking, taking applause, fronting game changing proposals that collapse constantly and have the title of 'chairman', then you are at the sharp end.

The self acclaimed best Evertonian ever wants so dearly to be adored but, my old man always rammed a truism down my throat as a kid if I got into trouble, 'show me your friends and I'll show you what you are..', that applies so well to Bill, he has chosen to be surrounded by chancers and snake oil salesmen, key there is chosen, because he wanted to do best for Bill Kenwright, not for Everton Football Club.

People hear things so differently though, how more inclined would you be to listen to someone who said they were "Pro-Change"

Pro Change = Anti Kenwright though. The board's media manipulation has it's opposition tied up in knots, it was sad to hear Dave Kelly spend 10 minutes or so on Talksport waffling trying to project the image of a reasonable, decent guy (which he is) rather than talking about substance, this to fit in with the agenda the board is setting about anyone that questions them being rabid fanatics.

By the by, it would seem that the board aren't quite as careful and haven't followed due process with regards to sponsorship. Sullied ourselves with some company that used our brand appeal to defraud people.

Update: they are dodgy as 'eck, they are in fact a massive pyramid-style investment fraud:

...and also they amount to another embarrassing skiddy on the once unblemished undergarment that is our club's image. Bit of explaining to do.

The only reason Earl is here is because Kenwright invited him.

We still live in a dwindling stadium, on bad commercial deals and failed ground moves and disappearing revenue.

But Martinez always said the window would play out the way it has so far, maybe he knew his targets wouldn't be available till late on and the club have bided their time like they said they'd have to?

In fact that's far from fooling anybody. They've told the fans of their plans and they've been true to their word every step of the way.

Maybe they weren't available earlier? It's panned out exactly how we were told it would so far.

They've been unusually honest from day one that there'd be a couple coming in very early (correct) but we'd have to wait until late on to do our main business (again correct). Not often a football club and manager give that sort of information away.
