Sad news about ex Villa player Gary Shaw, he had a fall last week and I've just heard he has died, great player back in the 80's
"One game, one family"

That's awful news.
Was a cracking player in a great Villa side.

Sad news about Gary Shaw. He had an amazing season in Villas 81 title season. I'm sure he slotted in their 3-1 win at Goodison, in an impressive team. RIP fella.

….confirmed, Gary Shaw has sadly passed away aged 63. Glad I saw him play, very surprised he never won an England cap.

An outstanding slotter before injuries ruined him. And they really did ruin him.

His partnership with Peter Withe was one of the very best of the last 50 years.

To me, he will always be the young blond kid living the dream. Granted, I was 8 when he was at his far-too-soon peak, but he is one who will always be "forever young" in the mind's eye. And 63 IS too young to die.
