It sounds somewhat mad, given the current state of affairs, that the US within living memory elected a President who lived before and after the Presidency in a house he built himself.

his work to free the Iran Hostages and in the oil crisis was never really recognised. Iran had agreed the hostage release but waited to Jan 20th when reagan was inaugerated - so Reagan gets all the credit. He was a man of principle and faith, elected on merit, not by bribes, money and foreign influence. Quite the polar opposite of next months inaugeree
