The Court Of Moyes - A Debate.

The ability to spot a good footballer should be taken as read it's morphing said players into a team that decides a manager.

Clough would take "difficult" players like Kenny Burns and Larry Lloyd, wayward talents like John Roberts and mix them with unknowns to produce champions, Kendal did the same.

Moyes duration beyond the 2 year average for managers suggests something - exactly what depends on how you see EFC.

Yeah but he rarely chases games, he thought about doing his usual and then got a bit bolder and actually tried to win the game, a rare move for him. We lost, and as fans we prefer losing if we've tried to win instead of sitting back and 'letting them come at us' at west brom away, (forgetting the performance in this particular game - we'd likely have lost anyway - that's down to the players, here we're just talking about the manager's general decisions)

Personally I think it was positive by moyes to go for the goal, and is my only real bug-bear with him. and yet he sees it as a big negative and likely vindication of his safety first approach.

What do we think is going to happen in future?? Heitinga on instead probably

To be honest I rather Heitinga and Coleman to come on and settled for a point now (as we lost).

Neville for Gibson was the correct decision.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing tho.

And im fairly sure I saw 11 complete clowns trying to play football.

At the time I saw many Evertonians including myself wanting Fellaini to be dropped back then, the system wasn't working and I was one of them. For me it was a negative change.

Theres no dispute it was the wrong decision in the end and he did have other options, but how do you, as a Manager, cope with your entire team playing like utter clowns.

Most of us perceived this at half time but Moyes felt comfortable about the wrong tactles being used.

Make two subs to freshen things up perhaps? Bring Mirallas and Heitinga on?
