The Court Of Moyes - A Debate.

As far as star witness for the prosecution goes I reckon Beattie probably shades it.
Bily has the worst player / cost rating IMO but Moyes was under pressure to make a signing so basically rolled the dice on him. Koldrup was just a shady transfer full stop - there is no question that David Moyes knows what a premiership centre half looks like, and they don't look like Per Koldrup. Some silly conspiracy theories did the rounds at the time, but I'd still say there was more to this one than meets the eye.

Beattie, though - Moyes will have seen him loads and thought about how he would fit into the team. It's obvious in hindsight that he's just not a very good player, and Moyes should have been able to make that judgement before signing him.

The Yak was a good signing, just disappointing how it ended up. The Yak being the laziest human being alive can't really be laid at the feet of Davie Moyes - every manager the Yaks played under will have hit a wall with trying to motivate him.

He's got it wrong today against WBA. Took too long to change a system which clearly wasn't working (he has a habit of that). How many headers were Fellaini & Jelavic going to win against their huge centre backs? He again persists with the trio of Hibbert/Neville/Osman, one in the side is okay but all 3 combined, especially Hibbert rb, Neville rdm and Osman rm is suicide (as we have seen v Chelsea in the FA Cup final. We concede far too often from crosses.

"We made changes to try and win the game, brought Kevin Mirallas on, opened up the game a bit more. We weren't playing well enough in the final third, but it didn't improve anything. Maybe when it was 0-0 I should have said 'sit back and take 0-0'. Sometimes you make decisions and they work - sometimes they don't."

No one else concerned about this?
