First he should prove that he can stay fit for a longer stint, although we're notorious of giving long-term contracts to players with long injury records.

I agree with you but at times last season it felt that that sentiment might be dictating the teamsheet for Martinez, albeit with other players...

When fit Ovideo can play in front of Baines - I think it was hasty to send Garbott out on a full time loan with no call back as if he gets injured not much cover at left back going forwards!

I think we may see him on the left side of midfield a lot this season.
I would be interested to see him play a more central role as well.
