He absolutely hated Rodwell too didn’t he from the evidence I’ve seen. Said that selling him for £10m was wishful thinking, months before we sold him for £12m.

Spent a year advocating that we sell Jags, Felliani, and Baines.

Said we wouldn't get any money back on Felliani and wouldn't make any decent money on Rodwell.

Every post about the RS is complimentary... Make of THAT what you will.

I'm pretty sure I suggested Kevin Doyle in the Moyes days so I can't really lord it over him on that front

To be fair, Mascherano couldn't get in to a desperate West Ham team either.

Still, i wouldn't have Diamante, he's decent and can create something out of nothing, but all too often he goes missing in games. Fletcher is a good shout, i thought he added a touch of class to Burnley this year.

Barton over Arteta....

Barton has been one of the top midfielders in the league for years too, most players with his off-field track record would've been binned. Its his sheer talent and drive that has kept him in a job, and this year he's been immense. Compared to Arteta who's been gash.

I never said get rid of Arteta, for what we'd get for him it wouldn't be worth selling, but i'd get Barton in and drop him, might be a kick up the arse he needs, rather than Moyes desperately throwing him back in the side at every opportunity. Forgetting reputations for a second, Barton has been five times the player Arteta has this season.
