Great 2nd goal that
Great cross from Raso, made hard work of it the 2nd half, but again we meet chelsea for 3rd year in a row a week after the WSL season has ended, so we may as well go for it with been the last game [Arsenal and man utd are our 2 final league games so hard finish], like this season the cup after the 5th round is going to be finished into next season

Just seen some of the crazy scores but no actual reports are available. 11-0 and 10-0 to name just two. What a farce to permit a tournament with such vast differences in quality. It does the womens' game no good to line up useless, presumably part time teams against presumably professional ones.

There is as ever reports of the matches on the teams involved own websites, while over 10 off the games were showing Live by Clubs - only one via the bbc red button/fa player though, while as ever teams full time lower down or lower non league teams qualified just as the normal mens cup

Raso know's the score

On a day in which Everton would confirm 5th either by winning at West Ham or By Brighton losing at Arsenal, Everton were looking for their 3rd away WSL win in a row for the 1st time in 9 years or their 4th away win in 5 away games, They were up against a West Ham team in 9th place who have that slim chance of going down but were more than Likely already safe due to Bristol City been bottom and playing more games, West Ham had lost 6 of their 9 home games drawing the other 3 with their last home win comming 4-2 against Liverpool in February last year, Midweek West Ham struggled to draw against one of their rivals at the bottom, so this only looked like it may go one way, Everton beat West ham 3-1 in early October to get that 4th consecutive win in that excellent start to the season for Everton, while the last away game for Everton at West Ham came 25 months ago when Everton got a last minute winner via Hannah Cain, West Ham's last win v Everton came at Southport 2 and a half years ago when they came from behind to win 2-1 and even had a pen saved with the winner that day comming from our current on Loan star from west ham Alisha Lehmann who was giving permission to play today v her current parent club

There was 5 changes to todays starting line up from the Durham cup game, With Gabby George, Alisha Lehmann, Grace Clinton, Hayley Raso Moving to subs Bench, while Captain Lucy Graham was Injured. In came Wold, Sevecke, Stringer, Sorensen, and Gauvin, Simone Magill returned from been rested to subs bench

It was a good start by West Ham who went close twice in the 1st 3mins the 1st of them been Grace Fisk flicking on Kenza Dali's corner that was just wide of the far post, while seconds later a cross was well defended again, Everton finally got into the west ham half and Jill Scott fired over on 5mins from the edge of the 18 yard box after a quick free kick, just 2mins later after a lovely flowing Everton move involving Scott and Sorensen who's low ball across the box was just to overhit, the ball came to Stringer who fired wide from the angle, Sorensen on 15mins then had a shot blocked, after Everton had been in control since that 1st few mins it was west ham who should have gone 1-0 ahead on 20mins when Izzy christiansen's back pass went right to Martha Thomas who after getting pass Sevecke, should have scored or at least got her shot on target but she dragged it wide, a minute later Kenza Dali then had her shot blocked well inside the Everton box that went for a corner, Everton probably came the closest they had on 32mins when Nicoline sorensen after a 1st time pass on the volley from Poppy Pattinson saw her shot after she went a little wide saved by the west ham keeper Courtney Brosnan, somehow on 37mins Everton survived going 1 down when Hawa Cissoko and Gilly Flaherty had shots blocked in a goal line scramble, but Half Time came in an intriguing contest

The 2nd half began with no change's for either side and it was west ham who had the 1st chance of the 2nd half on 50mins when Kenza Dali fired over inside the box on the angle, again west ham had a good chance on 60mins when from a free kick West Ham top scorer Emily van Egmond headed wide with the Everton keeper slipping-she should have at least got it on target, West Ham again came close on 67mins when they hit the crossbar when from Kenza Dali's cross Martha Thomas hit the top of the crossbar with a header, on 75mins Everton finally had a shot when Nicoline sorensen after nutmegging a west ham defender saw her shot straight at the west ham keeper just inside the 18 yard area, Then on 76mins from a free kick central Izzy christiansen's free kick was deflected just wide of the far post, The game ended 0-0 with Everton not doing enough in the final 3rd while probably been a bit better the 1st half for their 1st 0-0 draw in 42 games since a 0-0 at Brighton 27months ago, Everton also confirmed 5th place with games left next week home to Arsenal Then away to Man Utd the week later in their final game

WOMENS SUPER LEAGUE
EVERTON WOMEN 1 ARSENAL WOMEN 2

Everton knowing they have ended the season in 5th place were playing their penultimate match of the WSL season, and their final game at their new home of Walton Hall Park, Today they were up against one of the so called big 3 of the WSL in Arsenal, As ever verse the Tougher teams Everton had not won in a while in the WSL with the last actual Everton win any comp v Arsenal comming in 2011, While the last time Everton avoided defeat was 2012 - The current record v Arsenal is 16 defeats from 17 games with 13 of them been consecutive, Arsenal are 3rd 3 points above Man Utd [Who are Everton's Final day Opponents next week] and knew that a win at Walton Park would confirm Champions League football due to their far superior goal Difference which was more than Double Man Utd's, Arsenal have won their last 4 away WSL games 3 of them 4-0 and the other 3-0, while winning their last 8 in total without conceeding a goal with 7 of them been in the WSL league, A clean sheet for Arsenal today would be a WSL record of 9 in a season

Everton made 3 changes this game to the starting line up v West Ham last week, with Lucy Graham returning from Injury,Raso comming into the 11 and Gabby George starting in place of Sorensen and Gauvin who dropped to the bench with Stringer not in the squad, The 1st 10mins were mostly all Arsenal having the ball with no chances for either the opening stages, On 13mins Jordan Nobbs then had a curler from the centre of the 18 yard box palmed over by Everton keeper Maclver after Foord had won the ball and set the chance up for Arsenal, Arsenal then took a 22nd min lead with basically their 2nd chance while Everton had so far had none and not even got the other end of the pitch, the goal was scored by Katie McCabe who scored her 4th of the season when she lobbed Maclver after been played through by a flick from Ford after a pass from Just inside the Everton half, Kim little went very close on 32mins after a nice move when her shot just went over from the angle, Arsenal went into Half Time 1-0 ahead in a game they were by far ontop of, with Everton rarely in the Arsenal half as well as not having one shot at goal

At the start of the 2nd half Beth Mead got on the end of a cross but her shot was wide on 47mins for Arsenal before Izzy Christiansen had a shot well wide for Everton on 49mins, Miedema then shot wide on 51mins, Beth Mead then got around Everton defender Poppy Pattinson in the left back position before cutting in and shooting wide when she should have at least hit the target for Arsenal on 55mins, against Arsenal should have scored on 56mins when a pull back came to Defender Noelle Maritz who on the 6 yard box had her shot brilliantly blocked by Sevecke before somehow hitting the rebound over, incredibly Everton then right out the blue got a goal on 73mins when a ball was lobbed into the area by Izzy Christiansen and defender Meg Finnigan headed home to become the 1st team in 8 WSL games or early February to score past Arsenal, Izzy Christiansen then had a curler just over from the angle 83mins, Kim little after a clever free kick by Arsenal saw her tame shot saved on 93mins but it was heart break for Everton when Arsenal were awarded a pen after the Everton scorer Meg Finnigan was adjudged to have brought the Arsenal player Katie McCabe down, The pen was then scored by Kim little top corner with the last touch to win it for Arsenal and put them in the champions league

----------------------------
Everton game away to chelsea in the FA CUP 5th Round on the 16th May will be called off due to Chelsea women making the champions league final,
I am not sure if it will even take place this season now as i doubt it will be played in the build up to Chelsea's final and it cant be later as it means Everton would be waiting over a week after the season ended and be unfair on them with no games other than waiting for that

....never knew the ladies played at Walton Hall. Coincidentally, drove past there this afternoon. Hope my picture is still up in the gallery.
