1-0 with 10mins to go.

Decent effort from distance just now. Live on FA Player. Lady blues holding their own. Some good noise from the blue section as well.

SUNDAY 17TH NOVEMBER 3PM KO
WOMENS SUPER LEAGUE
LIVERPOOL WOMEN 0 EVERTON WOMEN 1

Well the time had finally arrived for this historic and maybe once in a lifetime WSL Womens game at Anfield, But i bet you didnt know that Everton women had already beat Liverpool women in a game at Anfield, that came back in December 1997 when Everton won 2-0 thanks to goals from Karen Burke on 13mins & Tina Mason on 63mins, that win that night put Everton top of the league above Doncaster Belles, Everton were on an 8 game winning streak before that Derby, right now Liverpool are bottom and in a slump with there worst start in 7 years after only 1 point and 1 goal a pen that that both came v Bristol City early last month- there last league win actually came on the final day of the season in May against you guessed it Everton, Everton on the other hand are 3 points off 2nd and 4 off top after gaining 3 wins from 5 league games, and a win today would take them past the total they gained the whole of last season-its been a complete transformation so far this season,Everton one of the leagues highest scorers were without the League top scorer Chloe Kelly though as she got herself a 2nd yellow card in injury time for a kick out v man utd in the cup game, she has 4 league goals this season,Everton were looking for there 3rd win in the last 4 games v Liverpool in a year after only 1 win since since 2012 before that winning run [that was in 2014 cup]

Everton going into the game made 3 changes, one enforced due to Chloe Kelly Red,while the returning simone Magill was another with Stringer been the 3rd change, from the game v man utd, Melissa Lawley had the 1st chance of the game for Liverpool on 3mins from distance which was easy in the end for Korpela, Niamh Charles for Liverpool with her speed down the left was causing problems for Everton to begin with,Korpela for Everton on 16mins then produced a breath taking save when it looked a certain goal when Kirsty Linnett headed towards goal no more than 6 yards out after a little bit of pin ball in the box,it was finger tips at most,on 35mins once again it was Liverpool comming forward when Linnett was allowed to run towards the box and eventually pulled the trigger, her shot went wide of Korpela's left hand post,Rhiannon Roberts then shot from Distance and that shot was fumbled by Korpela on 40mins with no one following in, so far based on 1st half you would not know Liverpool were bottom and without league win since May,i was about to say Everton will be happy going in 0-0 but right out the blue and an error of epic proportions from the Liverpool keeper then gifted EVERTON A GOAL on 45mins when onfield Everton skipper Lucy Graham shot from around 25 yards was fumbled in by Liverpool keeper Anke Preuss, that was the last action of the half with Everton going in 1-0 ahead

Onto the 2nd half and simone magill had a scuffed effort go wide that caused no problems for the Liverpool kepper,Ex toffee courtney sweetman kirk then had a shot fly miles over on 50mins, Boye-Hlorkah for Everton then tried her luck with a curler that she didnt catch right but was easy for the keeper,Babajide a sub for Liverpool then beat 2 Everotn players on the left side before her cross found Niamh Charles who was arriving late into the box but her shot was blocked by a fantastic sliding tackle by off field captain Danielle Turner in the 18 yard box, Niamh Charles on the turn on the pen spot then shot wide of the Everton left hand post,Hannah cain for Everton then had a long distance shot that was palmed down easy by the keeper, Babjide then shot over on 88mins,Niamh Charles then had a little flicker of a chance on 89mins,pike looked certain to make it 2-0 in injury time but her shot was blocked, but the game ended and it was EVERTONS 4TH WIN FROM 6 GAMES,that put them 4th
The crowd for todays game was 23,500,,The next Everton game comes this Thusday in the cup home to man city

We've won at Anfield at last. Man of the match Tom Davies and I'm just glad he got 10 of his effeminate mates to play with him. We just looked like a different team to usual, tbf so did the RS. But I'll take it.
