5TH ROUND WOMENS FA CUP
BRISTOL CITY WOMEN 0 EVERTON WOMEN 5

Everton facing what some may call a potential shock based on League placings looking to get to the Quarter Finals, were tonight away to the league's bottom placed team in Bristol City Women who have only won 1 league game while conceeding the most by a little way, the game was played at a windy Ashton Gate with Everton boss Willie Kirk taking his team to his former side -he was the Bristol city boss for 3 years before he went to man utd as the assistant boss for 6 months before he then left there to become the Everton Boss

The game started and just 3mins into it Gabby George was stretchered off with the cause of the Injury unclear, but she had her head in her hands and shes not one to go down easy from an injury and it did not look good, But Everton took a 8th minute lead from a lovely move from Everton as Clemaron spread it out to Kaagman in acres of space down the left. She was left unmarked to send in a cross that Graham finished well from 8 yards out, it was nearly 2-0 on 13mins when a Lovely flick and turn from Kelly after bringing down a Graham's pass saw her shot from just outside the box batted wide by Bristol keeper Baggaley for a corner to Everton. but it did become 2-0 EVERTON on 18mins when Everton win it back and win another corner as Kelly's effort was blocked. Kaagman's delivery from the corner is then headed home by Esme Morgan who was free on the centre of the box, Bristol almost pulled themselves back into the game when Salmon brook into the box holds it up but curls her shot just wide of the far post on 22mins, it was so close to 3-0 when Lucy Graham once again shot narrowly wide of the post, on 33mins Robinson for Bristol attempt at breaking in to the box is stopped as she is surrounded by 3 Everton players before Everton go down the other end with Boye-Hlorkah hooking an overhead kick just over the bar, but it was 3-0 on 39mins and no less than Everton deserved when Bryson for bristol tried to prevent a corner to Evertotn but it went straight to Turner out on the left for Everton. Her cross in is headed towards goal by Lucy Graham and It beats Baggaley for the Everton captain's 2nd of the game against her former club [Everton lost 1-0 here last season with Graham scoring the winner for bristol v everton in march], Kaagman then had a 20 yard half volley shot wide as Everton went into HT 3-0 up

The 2nd half began pretty much like Everton had been playing the whole game and it became 4-0 on 53mins when Clemaron is fouled. Kelly's free into the box for Everton is initially cleared out but Boye-Hlorkah is strong enough to win it back. She brook into the box and squares it to Kaagman to slot home. It was 5-0 on 59mins when Everton moved up field at pace with Boye-Hlorkah's pass to Hannah Cain whos Acrobatic finished in a brilliant fifth, She only turned 21 last week, Everton were close to a 6th when Kaagman stretched out a leg to volley Van Es' long ball just over the bar, But this was an even more impressive performance as we put in so many so many games this season, when you consider that Bristol were so close to getting the draw at man city at the weekend in the league, The attendance tonight was 1881 and This is Everton's biggest winning scoreline in a competitive game since a 6-1 victory at Durham in the cup in March 2018.

At Walton Hall Park - think it was sold out but looks room for plenty more for future games which they'll be glad to know.

Hope the u23's move here too.

United decent enough team, bought their way into WSL and naturally have been able to poach players.

Great for them to have a proper home tohugh, very close to Goodison. Will only be a good thing for their support and financially.
