SUNDAY 6TH JANUARY 2PM KO
WOMENS SUPER LEAGUE
CHELSEA WOMEN 3 EVERTON LADIES 0

9th placed Everton women who finally got a 1st league win in December faced a tough task today on there return after the xmas break away to 3rd placed Chelsea Women, who are on a run of 5 league wins in a row and only have 3 home defeats in 3 and a half years,or 5 in total over the same time, and so it proved when on just 6 mins Chelsea took the lead through Bethany England who after playing a one two with Erin Cuthbert finished clinically with her left foot, Chelsea were all over Everton the 1st 15mins and could have had a 2nd but for saves from keeper Levell from shots off Spence and Blundell, again seconds later it was Erin Cuthbert who's shot deflected just over and it was surely only a matter of time till the 2nd arrived even this early,a header from Hughes for Everton on 19 went wide,Millie Bright took aim from 35 yards for chelsea with that shot crashing against the crossbar on 25mins [below],Kelly should have made it 1-1 on 39 when she kneed a shot from a hughes cross but the chelsea keeper was in the right place at the right time saving with her left foot [chance below],Cuthbert again nearly got chelsea's 2nd but for a great save from Levell [down below],but Everton got to half time only somehow 1-0 behind

But the 2nd goal for Chelsea that had looked so likely for so long finally arrived on the hour mark when Drew spence tapped home from a corner from Karen Carney that went over the Everton defenders heads,it should have been 3 seconds later when Cuthbert clean through shot wide, but it was 3-0 on 68mins when Hannah Blundell scored her 2nd of the season curling her shot around the keeper,Chelsea keeper Lindahl then made 2 quick fire great saves from Hinds and Kaagman But 3 goals from chelsea in this game was the least they deserved for there 9th win in a row all comps

This result and Brighton winning at Liverpool to gain there 2nd win of the season pushed Everton down to 10th while Brighton went to 9th,Brighton v Everton is the next game for Everton next sunday, while 8am in the monring Everton will find out who they play in the Womens FA CUP

WOMENS SUPER LEAGUE
BRIGHTON WOMEN 0 EVERTON LADIES 0

It was 9th place Brighton v 10th place Everton with Everton looking for only there 2nd league win of the season, onto the game and ex-Everton striker Aileen Whelan though only for a matter of months saw her early shot on 3mins hit the bar from 25 yards,Kaagman's low drive went just wide of the far post on 10mins,James for Everton had 2 more half chances for everton, the 2nd right at the keeper when she should do better,it was 0-0 at half time

Everton started and were better the 1st 15mins of the 2nd half without really any threat, but on 60 Brighton via Gibbons had her angled attempt cleared off the line by Toffee's defender Georgia Brougham-Umotong headed wide from the resulting corner wide,Buet then had a shot from a narrow angle that was straight at Levell on 79mins,there was no more chances off note and the game ended 0-0

SUNDAY 3RD FEBRUARY 3PM KO
WOMENS FA CUP 4TH ROUND
EVERTON LADIES 0 CHELSEA WOMEN 2

After passing 2 early pitch inspections in a hour, the game was given the final go ahead for this tough FA CUP GAME just before kick off ,the game began with an early chance for Chelsea with Fran Kirby twisting and tuning in the area getting her shot away but it was easy for Toffee's Keeper Levell, and again another chance was made for chelsea on 10mins when Drew Spence had her shot from the edge of the area saved, after a spell in which the 1st 10mins were all chelsea, Karen Carney was next to come close for Chelsea when her header was just over on 23mins,finally a chance arrived on 32 for Everton when Boye-Hlorkah turn and shot from 25 yards had the chelsea keeper palming it away, then Keeper Levell produced a fine save from Erin Cuthbert on 40mins,Before simone Magill in injury time with a volley for Everton saw her shot straight at the keeper, before the whistle blew for 0-0 HT

The 2nd half began again a bit like the 1st half when keeper Levell tipped a Blundell shot wide on 49mins,another save from a powerfull Kirby came on 57,and finally afer the presure Chelsea got the opener on 66mins when Drew Spence rounded off a flowing counter-attack, firing low into Levell's bottom corner,Levell again not for the 1st time today and in so many games came to the rescue when she saved a deflected shot from Kirby with her legs on 69mins,again Levell denied Kirby on 75,Andersson then shot over on 78mins for chelsea,Blundell bundled home from close range after Levell saved from Kirby in injury time to seal a 2-0 win with Everton been knocked out in near enough same result, performance and scorer wise from the League game 3 weeks ago

Everton return to League action a week today home to Birmingham City women

WEDNESDAY 20TH FEBRUARY 7PM KO
WOMENS SUPER LEAGUE
MAN CITY WOMEN 3 EVERTON LADIES 1

In what was sure to be an almost impossible task,Everton Ladies playing there 1st game for 17 days before another 21 day break and looking for only there 2nd league win of the season, were away to the league leaders man city who had 10 wins,5 draws from 15 games,as well as Everton losing the last 8 games v city,And surprising maybe Everton started very well in the 1st 10minutes with Turner shooting wide for Everton in an early chance before Everton did take the lead on 12mins when Boye-Hlorkah after a mix up at the back between keeper and defender scored past city keeper Roebuck,City were near enough back on level terms from the kick off from Beckie but for a finger tip save from Everton keeper Levell who has made some wonder saves over the last few months,Levell then saved ex Toffee's Jill Scott's chance on 16mins, Inessa Kaagman on 24 then shot over for Everton, Lauren Hemp for city then had a header disallowed for offside on 40mins,then on 45 Keira Walsh had a curler go just wide before an Everton counter attack had Kaagman caught in 2 minds and her shot was easy for the city keeper, but Everton led 1-0 HT

But just 3mins into the 2nd half and man city made it 1-1 via Keira Walsh who scored from 18 yards after Lauren Hemps shot was blocked and it looked like the keeper should have saved it,and it was soon 2-1 man city on 56mins when Janine Beckie's header from a corner was put in,but Everton missed a great chance to level things on 62 when Kaagman headed over from just 6 yards out,Hemp then hit the base of the post on 80 for City,on 85 Kaagman's dipping shot dipped to late and just went over the bar from Distance,30 seconds later Boye-Hlorkah's header had the city keeper making a save, but the game was sealed on 90mins when ex Toffee Nikita Parris broke away and cliped the ball over Levell

They will be safe this season, and play Bottom team Yeovil in 2 and a half weeks, yep that Yeovil that have 1 win since november 2016,getting it in november 2018 and losing every game since that win, pretty much like before that win

Well the night started well, when west ham could not get the stream up they said,That been due to Facebook been a pain for hours and not letting loads sign in,while not letting others make or reply to posts, but they in the end put the game on Youtube 25mins late, Anyway onto the game and on 29mins Everton got a bit of luck as from a corner there was a scramble in the 6 yard box cleared away, but the ball fell right to Gilly flaherty around the pen spot and her shot was well saved from Levell, 4mins later Level was again called into action saving Alisha Lehmann's low down shot at her near post, the resulting corner was headed over, Everton rarely troubled the West Ham's defence that last 20-25mins, and i dont have a clue how the 1st 20 or so mins went,

Anyway the start of the 2nd half West Ham had a shot curl wide, while the stream started with no sound-it was only crowd noise , while Everton had a long range shot blocked, but then not long later West ham's Youtube Page literally ripped off the Everton Art of streaming when the stream died and came back 15mins later with sound, who say's no one learns anything from Everton,in that 15mins Everton had a half decent chance that Taylor Hinds let get away from her, that she should have really done better with, There were a few nevery moments for the Everton back line as West ham went close a few times in mins from crosses that were missed for a headed tap in,but on 87 mins a goal for EVERTON via a Hannah Cain neat finish after a through ball from Simone Magill,Faye Bryson then shot over for Everton in Injury time,West ham had a goal disallowed on 96mins for a foul on keeper, but it was offside as well, but Everton held on for there 1st away league win since november 2017 at Yeovil and only there 2nd win of the season
