Team vs Krasnodar

They weren't playing Dynamo Moscow on that stream I was watching lad - it was 'Arsenal Tula'

Sorry mate I'd searched Krasnodar and it came up with Kuban rather than FC. That being said the ones we're saying still seem to be quite good at the back. Imagine Russian teams aren't up to that high a standard though.

Joazinho is a good player but that's only from any little clips i've seen - plus he's Brazilan. Not a clue about the rest other than they've got Izmalov who was good when he was in Portugal but he's about 32 now

Him and Wanderson are meant to be decent. Nothing to be scared of though the best chance they've got to beat us is if the travel affects us badly.

No you're right mate I got the wrong Krasnodar haha

Thought you might've done!

These are FC Krasnodar's results this season, not bad still. Seem to be a pretty decent side:

3 Aug
Lokomotiv Moscow
0 - 0
FC Krasnodar

10 Aug
FC Ural
1 - 1
FC Krasnodar

14 Aug
FC Krasnodar
4 - 0
Spartak

17 Aug
FC Rostov
0 - 2
FC Krasnodar

24 Aug
Torpedo Moscow
0 - 3
FC Krasnodar

31 Aug
FC Krasnodar
0 - 2
Dynamo Moscow

14 Sep
FC Krasnodar
0 - 2
FC Ufa

22 Sep
Amkar Perm
1 - 2
FC Krasnodar

I think we're underestimating Krasnodar a bit. Definitely the dark horses. I agree we'll make a fair few changes but bringing in people like Robles, Long, McAleny, Galloway like some people have suggested is a bit far imo. Maybe if we make about 6 changes but keep the standard high, bring in the likes of Eto'o/Kone, Osman, Gibson, Browning, Oviedo, Atsu.

Sorry I worded that poorly, I'm not underestimating them I actually think it'll be very tough, all I was saying is it's the one game we can afford to lose if we do, imo.

We need to concentrate on winning our home games and then picking up one or two results away, that will see us through comfortably. I'd be happy with a draw on Thursday.

Yeh,
Him and Wanderson are meant to be decent. Nothing to be scared of though the best chance they've got to beat us is if the travel affects us badly.
plus the fact that its a (relative) stones throw away from Crimea. We'll need to be on top form. My team would be:

Robles
Browning Jagielka Distin/Alcaraz Garbutt
Gibson Besic
McGeady Osman Oviedo
Eto'o

Subs: Howard, Hibbert, Distin/Alcaraz, McCarthy, Naismith, Kone, Atsu

I couldn't care less about this Russian team, Win or lose we will still go through. My team would be

Joel
Browning Stones Distin Garbutt
Gibson
Ledson Osman
Atsu Eto'o Oviedo

Subs: Stanek, Hibbert, Alcaraz, Barry, Naismith, McGeady, Kone.

We must rest some players for UTD as they are there for the taking and one of our direct rivals.

Robles
Browning Alcaraz Distin Garbutt
Gibson
Atsu Osman Besic Oviedo
Kone

Subs
Stanek, Hibbert, Naismith, McGeady, Etoo, Lukaku, McCarthy

If Coleman is fit, I'd like to see:

Robles
Browning Alcaraz Distin Garbutt
Gibbo Besic
Atsu Osman Oviedo
Eto'o or Kone

If Coleman isn't fit, I'd put in Hibbert at RB and save Browning for ManU. Need someone with speed against Di Maria.

I think Howard should be dropped regardless, he has been shocking all season and their goal yesterday was terrible from his point of view. His only saving grace is that Robles has looked sub standard when he has played.

I would rest as many as possible in Russia for the United game. after winning the first game against Wolfsburg I think we can afford to lose this one. Even if we play our strongest 11 we could still end up losing as no one knows what to expect from Krasnodar.

we should take this competition serious as its our best chance at silverware and champions league.

We can't play a super weak team because we'd get smashed. This team aren't mugs, they're a solid side especially at home.
