Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins has died aged 50. He was found in his hotel room in Bogotá, Columbia a few hours before the band were due to play at a festival.

No cause of death has been released

Very sad this, I was lucky enough to see the Foo’s live 3 times and he was an awesome character on stage. I can remember him doing a rendition of Queen’s Under Pressure and it was phenomenal. RIP Taylor xx

This is sad news i'm a massive Foo Fighters fan. I've always rated them as a better band than Nirvana tbh, although i admit that's not a politically correct thing to say.

I got bored of Nirvana years ago, while i still listen to my Foo Fighters albums. RIP Taylor Hawkins.
