Talk Talk Broadband. Any good?

I have the Fibre Optic broadband with Talk Talk for £10 a month, no problems whatsoever tbh and speed is at around 31 to 38 mbps.

Two options are 40mbps or 80mbps, were on 40 of course.

If you have Sky TV it is £10 a month cheaper at £7.50 per month + £12ish line rental. Also the Talk Talk 'deal' is only for a year and you'll be paying at least £20 a month after that including line rental. By the sounds of things it's pretty unreliable anyway.

That's just for the broadband though. The line rental is more expensive with Sky. It's £14.50 line rental, £5 for talk anytime which is the equivalent to what talk talk have offered and £10 for the broadband. (BB £120 + Line rental £174 + Sky talk £60 = £354. It's £30 less if you have Sky TV but for a fair comparison I used the full price)

Last time I checked we couldn't get Talk Talk fibre optic in our area. I'll check it again those speeds sound good.

I had the fibre option with them they promised speeds of 37 mb or so i got at best 5 mb,now with BT im getting 77mb speeds for pretty much the same price

I was part of the project team that built Talk Talks local loop unbundled network ........Avoid them like the plague, it's not one of my greatest achievements

customer service is dreadful on talk talk

standard broadband is increadibly slow in toxteth, get 1.2 - 1.7 meg download speed
