T.V Problems.

Does anyone understand this problem. I've got a 50" Sony Bravia tv. Its works perfectly with the dvd player and theres no problem watching normal programmes on telly. The problem only happens when I put the PS3 on HDMI. I have a ghosting of the yellow in the picture. It goes from right to left about 1/2 inch. Make sense? With it being a Sony you'd think it would be A.O.K. Its like the picture isnt tuned properly but there doesnt seem to be a way of tuning it. As I say it works perfectly through the dvd and normal telly. Am confused. Could it be the HDMI cable?

Long shot, but, try unplugging your dvd player before switching your ps3 on. May be getting internal shadows from it.

Have you tried adjusting your HD settings on your PS3, my tv ghosts when on 1080p but when i change settings to 1080i its fine

That'll never work, he'd be better off selling it to me for a ridiculously low price, or better still, throwing it through my window.

Just checked that Basil and its already set to 1080i. Tried all other setting. Maybe the cable?

I've only got a 29" you make me feel quite inadaquate, I suppose it's what you do with it eh?
