Swearing Warnings?

People need to learn this lesson:

ye I’m gonna stick my head on the parapet and say there’s a chance anyone getting these stickers might be saying stuff that goes beyond swearing and isnt actually acceptable

Every chance but equally if some is persistently dropping F & C bombs left right and centre I can understand it.
Can’t imagine they would bother for one or two instances of industrial language when there’s some dodgy reffing or a bad tackle, else there would be about 40,000 of the stickers put out.
Must admit there were one or two C bombs dropped in the family enclosure on Sat that I was a bit suprised at (no I didn’t grass before anyone says otherwise )
Edit - mind you, that was just my Mrs addressing me.

These aren’t for simply swearing. They’re really for abusive language and tbf, some fans go beyond at times.

Fella behind me definitely crosses a line with someone of our players. We’re not talking saying they’re ‘f-ing [Poor language removed]’ or whatever either.

If you can’t go and watch a game of football with verbally abusing people; you could probably do with going to see someone.

The club may have to stop playing Grand Old Team then. Or are the expecting 50k people that have sang an altered version for decades to start singing the child friendly version?

Someone has shared a picture of it and it says persistent foul and abusive language.

From the volume of them, and the from those admitting they received one - it's perhaps a fair assumption it's swearing.

so why not get stickers with HD not goodison? the tight gits!

I’m saying i reckon theres a good chance anyone receiving a warning has probably used racist or homophobic slurs

Would hope if they had clear evidence they would get more than a warning sticker.

Someone threatened to report my mate earlier in the season for abusing the ref. He only called him a "fat umpa lumpa".

The people doing the grassing should be going the theatre. That game's gone.

There was a row at the spurs game between two guys, one of which was swearing quite a bit when their 2nd went in. The other guy was there with his kids and took offense that they'd been exposed to foul language at a football match

I remember loving hearing it when I was a kid. All I got was a simple "don't repeat any of this when you get home"
