The thing is though that there isnt really any position that needs a new player, all he would be doing is spending money on an addition to the squad that we arguably dont need. Better to not spend anything, hope Chelsea sign Falcao or someone of that ilk, and then beg them for Lukaku in the summer.

It's been reported that Bobby was offered 10 million this January and turned it down. I think we'll be looking at loans for the rest of the year and then buy in the summer.

We could use a 2nd striker but given that decent strikers are expensive we aren't buying one. We do have 1 loan left though.

No, under Moyes we would have defended on the 18 yard line and conceded another. I'm loving that even in a scrappy game like that we still didn't resort to long ball, kept trying to find space and kept pressing. Moyes would have hauled Barkley off after 60 mins

Exactly. All we need is depth anyway. Our first 11 is very settled.

......always good to freshen things up and keep momentum. Remember that we were in a good position last season and settled for what we had. We need to bring some cover in.
