Just coming out of a bar in fuerteventura. Only Evertonian in there, and they had the sound turned down but seeing as how I was an ambassador, I screamed the place down. The missus was giving me plenty of funny looks, especially when Rom slotted his third and I attempted a power slide. Grazed me knee, and nearly fell on me grid but well worth it. First time I've ever seen us win while on holiday.

Think it should be the starting 11 for the weekend.

It's a hard one mate.

Boro will be tough. We're on a high and at home which means, inevitably, it'll be frustrating for large spells.

Need to be very wary.

Ross will be chomping at the bit and we'll need somebody in midfield capable of controlling the play. Despite his performance tonight, which wasn't awful but just not good enough ultimately for what was needed, he is capable of that. Either way, plenty of options.

Starting with Gooch and Watmore ahead of Khazri again is baffling I'll not get started on Rodwell or Van Arsehole. This Ndong has to come in ASAP next to Kirchhoff and hit the ground running

That Ndong i thought would be good as hes big money for moyes...looked like a donkey in the limited time he was on. Kept falling over. You miss M'Vila.

Thought Watmore and Gooch were fine myself. Just needed 2 solid CMs, did you not sign M'Vila as hes free in Jan? Huge mistake.

Well that was downright nonsensical. Felt completely at ease for about an hour, and then we pressed the self destruct button out of nowhere. It'll be a very long season if we are going to have that kind of ten minutes in us.

More in reference that they were happy to try and counter attack. Rather than "dominating the game" or anything like that. They had the game under 'control' before they switched off.

They had nothing under control. Throughout we looked the better side, had all the possession and shots and never once looked as though we would concede. Not once did I feel that they would get anything.......

Great result and second-half performance tonight. Poor in the first half and glad to see Koeman demanding more publicly. Great to see.

Boro will be tough

Koeman's interview. Pure class.

I realise we are probably still in a 'honeymoon period' with him and the real test will be when we gave a couple of bad results, but by jingo, he impresses me more and more with every interview.

I think I've got a man crush

Saying that though mate, after being left out of the England squad you would have thought Ross would have been chomping at the bit tonight.
