And a shout for Williams, too: all the fawning will rightly be over the attacking prowess offered, but I like what Williams does and what he offers. A solid defender, and plenty of marshalling and leadership.

So far, so very impressive from Koeman's recruits. I'm sure we're all praying we can keep building and keep showing up well.

It's not about the money you spend, it's about the quality you bring in. I'm happy with our summer acquisitions. Obviously, a quality back up to Rom on a permanent deal would have been nice. But outside that, I am pleased.
