Who did shoot JR?
Don't they?
Well I happen to know more than the average fan fortunately. I have been told that things are happening, and I also know how hard people are working to get things done. Why do you believe you know more than the average fan? What is an average fan? And if you claim to know what is happening, why dont you tell us all to stop all these rumours you have admitted to be tired of reading? If you know so much, you could easily halt these constant rumours. Everyone on here could easily state they know what is going on, but we dont.
They don't though.

Right for a kick off you need to close the Quote tag with a forward slash.
Second of all, I don't know who we are signing, I just know we are close to signing 2 players. An average fan is someone who is fed information through the television set or a newspaper and is not really privy to executive information.
I have been trying to say for the past week that to chillout and just wait. Things are happening, but then something will happen in the Echo and everyone is depressed again. Our own chairman has had an exclusive interview on SSN where he has reiterated that they are working around the clock to sign players before the season starts.
I have no reason to believe this won't happen. But you lot are like a bottle of pop and are out of control with the negative attitudes. You don't look at the big picture.
I'm not going to single Cal out here for anything vindictive, but merely to illustrate a point. Cal wants us to challenge top 4. So do I. But its not going to happen, we don't have the financial clout to do so. I believe though that if Moutinho signs, then Cal will be delighted beyond belief. Anyone else who arrives may not get as much gratitude as that one, and rightly so.
That one player could be the player we need. Lets be honest we are only looking at one or two players who would go straight into the best eleven. So if we sign 2 players I would be happy, because we have 3 youngsters all making a name for themselves, of which they could easily be in the team on merit.
Ask Moyes who he would say has been the most impressive during pre-season and he would say Rodwell, closely followed by Baxter. Now that is 2 players there who by Moyes own admission are able to be in the squad. Plus Gosling, so that's 3. Those 3 to replace lets say - Gravesen, Gardner and McFadden - because those 3 were only squad players.
So we really only need to replace Carsley and AJ.
Spurs are buying players, but they are selling them too.
So if we look at the players not at the club who were here last year, how many of them were regulars in the first team?
Anthony Gardner? No.
Tommy G? No.
McFadden? Not really.
AJ? Spent most of his time on the bench.
Wessel? Not a regular
Fernandes? Flitted in and out.
I can't think of anymore really.
I just think people are making a mountain out of a molehill.
While I agree with you that only Carsley was a regular in the starting lineup, AJ, McFadden & Fernandes played fairly regularly, perhaps not as starters but as subs that filled the gaps when the regulars got injured, tired or served a ban.
Our starting 11 can fight it out with any team, but it's our backup that's very frail and need a boost. It's that that I'm nervous about, not our first 11.
We do need 5/6 signings, without a doubt.
A backup goalkeeper
A backup centre half
2 midfielders
1 striker
