Rather have a top class Grealish than a load of crap younger players. I’d rather spend the money on Grealish over what we’ve spent on Alcaraz, Dibling and Barry.I think he’s a good player and on a free it’s a good deal,
The issue is, if Moyes wants Grealish as well and we’re giving long expensive contracts to 2 players 31 and 29. Also he’s another player who’s more technical and less speed
Even if we obtained an European spot? I think if we can sell him a vision for the future with the emphasis on building the squad we can persuade him to stay. He seems pretty settled despite increased interest from other clubs with European footballSad to say this but I wouldn't be surprised if N'dayie is sold this summer
He's 26 and this summer might be his best shot at getting a bumper contract at a CL club that has him playing at the top level for the last ~4 years of his peak. Can hardly begrudge him that considering that's the level of player he is and we're probably at LEAST 3 years away from that even if everything goes amazingly well. Player's careers are short and they only get one chance. Why ? I don’t think we need the money when we will be selling 4 or 5 fringe players. I like Grealish but I think Ndiaye is much better off the left
What happens a couple of seasons down the line when those players are all 35 and you don't have any good young players ready to step up.Rather have a top class Grealish than a load of crap younger players. I’d rather spend the money on Grealish over what we’ve spent on Alcaraz, Dibling and Barry.
Unless you can spend that 150mil every year on ready made players with no sell On and pay high wages. It’s not sustainable and we can’t do thatRather have a top class Grealish than a load of crap younger players. Hopefully it all comes together. He's 26 and this summer might be his best shot at getting a bumper contract at a CL club that has him playing at the top level for the last ~4 years of his peak. We don't need the money no, but all that really means is we can happily say no until our evaluation is met. If someone comes in with a £65m offer or whatever, I'd be very surprised if we didn't at least get around the table.
Arguably if we get Conference League we can say look, stay one more year, win us a trophy, leave a hero next summer.

If we miss out on Europe and then he goes and has a good world cup and is one of the stand out players Id be very surprised if he is still here at the start of next season. I fully expect there to be offers in for him in the summer.he’s not getting sold. i put it somewere a few weeks ago a man u sports journo
said united made an enquiry and TFG said leg it he’s not and won’t be for sale
every club is a selling club don’t get me wrong but we don’t need to anymore
And what happens when he understandably says I'm a Champions League level player, I've only got a few years left at my peak, that's the level I want to play at? Holding players hostage doesn't end well. It's not like he's a boyhood blue or something.he’s not getting sold. i put it somewere a few weeks ago a man u sports journo

Also clubs do need to buy and sell players, they need to be self sufficient, TFG won't keep putting money in forever mate, there always will be an element of sell to buy and recycling players, that's why it helps to have a healthy youth setup so that even the young lads not good enough for first team may still be good enough for a league abroad or the Championship and we can make money from them.
