Yep! We are set up for Thierry Henry but we have Thierno Barry, literally.I kind of still can't believe people can watch us this season and think that we could have had a '15/20 goal striker'. Is that striker scoring 10/15 goals by dribbling from midfield by themselves and slotting?
Blood pressure monitor?I hear we're monitoring Valverde
@mods
Can you instigate a 6 month ban for any poster mentioning our former CB/ midfielder/ right full/ temporary GK from now on please
Doesn't seem like everyone wanted Rohl by how little he's actually played.I reckon we'll sign a few more like Jagielka in the summer. Versatile utility players. I think it's one of the reasons we wanted Rohl.
If that's true it aligns somewhat with what he has been saying recently in that TFG would seem to favour the younger player growth market over a period of time. We know that's not really what Moyes prefers in terms of recruitment so it could make for an interesting summer.
Probably the gamble of selling your best players every year. It’s hard to kick on and build when you’re starting from square one.I find it confusing. Why can’t we replicate what Brighton/Brentford do?
Yeah I have seen that mentioned a few times especially from Boyland, I have no idea tbh. We should be able to that but with a bit more cash behind it.I find it confusing. Why can’t we replicate what Brighton/Brentford do?
Good read that. We'd miss Paddy if he left journo/Everton circles.
De Zerbi had Brighton right up there though and they were playing some decent ball, it was him that exploded and crashed it all in the end.Probably the gamble of selling your best players every year. It’s hard to kick on and build when you’re starting from square one.
You might have a decent year like Brentford are now, but your luck could crap out the next season if your new players aren’t as good as the 6 you’ve lost.
In the transfer thread?Are we signing Jagielka again
