Well from Moyes' recent comments there's far more chance of him bringing in defenders than midfielders or strikers

I think he mentioned about attackers last night also...surely we are after a striker.

I’ve watched him play live several times. He is much much better than Delap. If he sorts his finishing he will be a top player. He creates a lot on his own.

He’s a CF. FFS finishing is supposed to be the biggest part of his game

I'd say the only players likely we could shiift for any sort of money (that we would want to shift) are McNeil, Patterson & Chermiti, but it think we would be lucky to get £40m for those 3

Yeh but lowest net spend over last 5 years.

Pre Ndaiye, how long since we had one, let alone 3 guys, who can dribble and take on more than one player?
If we don't get any of a LB, CM, RB and 9 it'll still been the best window in a long time.

I don't mean this in a negative way, but so far i'd say it's only really been an acceptable window rather than a really good one. We've signed some good players, but we had an awful lot we needed to do, so I don't think it's been a window which has significantly moved the dial at this point. That can change if we can somehow bring in another couple of quality players, but right at this moment it just feels sort of 'OK'.

I think mcneill to someone like Brentford or promoted teams, but there hasn't been any links at all

McNeil would need replacing if he left and I can't imagine that we'd get enough for him to make that a particularly easy thing to do.
