Summer transfer window 2023

They possibly do if we don't have budget for them all. We need to get the priorities in first, even if it means spending slightly more on those positions.
But a free transfer doesn’t alter that, we need to prioritise spending money on forwards but tackling our second biggest weakness with a free doesn’t detract from that at all.

Looks like more really intelligent business from the club. That £1.7m we got will really help 🙈

This lad was up for player of the season in Ligue 2 last year despite only signing for Saint Etienne in January and we were delighted to get rid of him for nothing despite watching Mykolenko every week who cost £20m+.

This club just never learns. 4 left backs have left the club in the past 2 years, 1 European level and 3 highly rated prospects that were never given a chance. In that same time we’ve got probably the worst footballing left back across Europe’s top leagues and no backup in that position.

We’re an insane club.

It's just another sign of how much reassurance our fans need right now. We are in such a state that we want to suspend all normal working practices. Of course deals cannot be done in exactly the right order to make us feel good
