we’ve been selling our best young players to clubs with more money since year 2000.

The FFP has pulled up the ladder now, that’s why it was brought in, to protect the status quo.

Regardless of how rich our owner is, if we can’t increase revenue, we will never be able to compete again.
I find it amazing that this obvious situation (ladder pulled up to protect those who are now competing) isn’t being discussed at all in the media. Like nowhere. Likes of Everton with one charge are the problem but City with 115 charges (?) are the victims

Yes. He's not going to 'break through' any time soon either here or at Chelsea. He should absolutely go to the club where he has the better chance of honing his craft. At present that probably isn't us

terrible to say but it’s a no brainier from his pov. But to be fair, same for us given our currentnstate
