He's closer to Kenwright's role

Sort of seems to be a mix of DBB and Kenwright's responsibilities

He isn't a DOF, he had Edu and someone else before him as DOFs at Arsenal I think
Exactly this. At Real Zaragoza, Sanllehi is "General Director" with a Sporting Director under him. It would be an attempt to replicate the Spanish structure used by City. President/Chairman (Khaldoon); General Director/CEO (Soriano) and Sporting Director/Director of Football (Begiristain). The Chairman is a symbolic leader and nowhere near any transfer business. I think It's a good model but I am not convinced Sanllehi is the right man for the job. In the meantime, it looks like we have Kenwright running things for the most important transfer window in our history.

I am really enjoying the embarrassing media dramatics about the mass exodus from Everton, with Tom leaving being highlighted as a massive event. They conveniently forget that most of these players have over the last 2 (or more) seasons made us go on extended runs that, for periods of time had us as the worst team in the PL. We managed to scramble to safety with about 4 worldies, 2 from defenders. Do they think we are bothered by the exodus? It’s been needed for years.
