The left back we are now selling nkou
I was thinking more of mainstays of our team - not sure any of those count !

I was thinking 'native to these islands' geographically - so Naismith, Ferguron, Coleman et al are off the list due to having to suffer the same weather systems.

Stracq did play quite a bit didn't he ?

Sentimentality aside, Robles is the obvious choice for back up keeper. He’s still only 32, and is actually a decent keeper.

…whilst there was no catastrophic errors, I thought he looked a liability for Leeds. I was chuffed to see him in goal those last few games, his positioning is poor and he often stands planted to the ground, not even attempting to save.

Jelavic
Patterson
Naismith
Mykolenko
Olsen
Tie Li
Allan
Oviedo
IGG Mach 2
Mirallas

Those all pass at least the “marginally useful” threshold. Others do not: Rondon, Klaasen, Vlasic etc

I'd personally take Jelavic, Patterson, Naismith, IGG off the list for having already played elsewhere in UK & Eire.

Oviedo and Mirallas are good shouts. Li Tie was a funny one, I guess he did play quite a bit.

Just checked Andre gomes stats for Lille last season. Wasn't anything to write home about. Certainly wouldn't translate well to the premier league, but seemed to be a regular for them, so could see him going there permanently.
