I think the Kean deal will happen and we'll bend partially but not fully towards Juve.

They need to move him on for regular football and we need options, urgently.

Hopefully that and at least one more can be sorted this week. At least then we have momentum and are not heading into the final week/day needing four or five signings.

Saw both teams agreed too a new deal structure without a flat out buy back clause

If you’re consistently winning penalties through getting fouled in the box then then you’re making a good decision to dribble it into the area. Why would you be disappointed if their most frequent method of creating goals is by winning penalties (which he managed 6 times in one season)? A goal is a goal.

If you’re trying to find out who the most creative players are they have stats just for when a player creates a chance in open play which is a better indicator of a player’s creativity than assists are imo. Apparently Zaha shows up a lot better in this regard than Sigurdsson and Bernard too which would suggest he’s not a one trick pony.
I was just answering a question on whether it would be classed as an assist or not. I used specific examples of why it may not paint an accurate picture, you've ignored the examples and used a completely different one. You're trying to support a point that i'm not arguing against.

Just for that...

“Now Tuttosport have reported on how the two clubs are nearing a compromise. They suggest that Everton will not agree to the €60m buy-back as they feel Kean could be worth around double the price they are paying for him in the future.”

“So the report suggests Juventus and Everton are nearing a similar conclusion to a similar deal involving Emilio Audero.”

“The talented goalkeeper left Juventus for Sampdoria permanently in Ferbruary for a fee reported by the club’s official website to be €20 million (£18m).”

“A deal for the loaned out goalkeeper was protracted. Again, Juventus, wanted a buyback clause which Sampdoria were unhappy with. However, as reported by Calciomercato, a deal was eventually put together. They claim Juventus do not have a buy-back clause on Audero. However, they have the right to match any accepted transfer bid for Audero going forward.”

“So, for example, if Kean joined Everton and a rival club had a £70 million bid for the player accepted in 12 months time, Juventus would have the option to match that fee before Everton concluded a sale.”

Practically if we want to sell, Juve have to be able to bid at what the lowest current bid is on the player and have first opportunity to buy. But if we don’t want to sell we don’t have to

get it done Brands

Marco Silva says Everton may need to sign five more players before deadline day if the club are to do "better than last season".
