'DELPH NO GUEYE REPLACEMENT'
Everton boss Marco Silva has insisted the signing of Fabian Delph from Manchester City does not mean Idrissa Gueye is set to leave the club.
Delph joined on a three-year deal for a fee believed to be £9m on Tuesdayand is expected to compete for a midfield berth at Goodison Park after spending much of the end of his time at City as a makeshift left-back.
"Gana (Gueye) is still our player and, of course, if we lose Gana then we have to sign a player to replace him because you are talking about one player playing almost all of the games in our squad," Silva said.
"If it will happen then we have to replace him, it is not because we have signed Fabian Delph."

That does make it sound like Gana’s Going unfortunately. Interesting to see who they’ve got lined up.

IF Gana goes, (and those quotes make it sound likely) and we need a replacement for him, that would appear that we are trying to sign:

Zouma (or another CB)
Winger (to likely replace Lookman)
RB (As Silva has confirmed)
CM (Gana replacement)
CF (Desperately need this)

That’s on top of the 3 we have signed already. Total of 8 new players. That is a worryingly huge overhaul. Requires a mass exodus to start happening pretty quickly.

Yeh but you are one of those moaners, total glass half empty type.

I cannot understand why so many of you cry BEFORE before the event. Cry at links to crap players and ignore the links to good players.

What a misery life must be.
To be fair to them mate, that's a prerequisite to be an Evertonian.
