Good point. I just am not sold on Lo Celso and can't imagine they view him as a replacement for Eriksen. He could be amazing, but he could also be a total flop.

I have seen BBC get some things quite wrong but we’ll see. As others have said, doesn’t seem a very Spursy move. Especially with more important things to think about this week.

....not sure how this discussion crept into the transfer thread. I watched Leon Osman lots coming through the ranks and he was a little maestro of a footballer. I saw Gareth Barry in one of his first games for Villa (it might have been his debut) at Goodison, he played CB and was brilliant in a 0-0 draw. I saw lots of Gareth Barry in his later years playing for Everton and he was still brilliant.

Osman was a fine player rewarded with a couple of England caps. Gareth Barry was a brilliant player rewarded with many England caps. I think that’s about right.

Nice to see a sensible post regarding Barry ans Osman - two greatly under-estimated and under-appreciated ex Everton players

I can't do this again but no I truly believe that we've gone overboard on our appraisal of Bernard. However that description would be harsh so I was joking then.
