The only way I’d consider strootman on loan is if we sold Schneiderlen.

Sell him for £15m, get the young Argentinian wonderkid and strongman in. Young kid can learn from strootman for the season.

U have not mentioned any of his defensive work rate which is immense, quite often when the team is low on energy or losing he is still pushing giving his all... Bernard is a real credit to our team... you say you have only been watching since 2012?? Mate humble yourself to those of us who have watched this team religiously for decades their have been few people through our doors who successfully week in and out put in that level of performance. He was a big part of our post christmas turnaround

Our priority should be clearing deadwood enough to cover the fee’s of Zouma and Gomes... then tying down Gana on a big contract or finding a replacement... absolutely must bring in a striker who works as hard as DCL and can finish... then a RB and RW if they are available and we have the funds

He's a fine player. But our midfield goes to crap when Gana doesn't play because of the lack of a mobile player. Strootman and Gomes wouldn't be good business imo. Strootman instead of Gomes maybe.
