And who of those 4 would score 24 league goals a season ???
Remember you can only use 1 of them to replace Rom

Apparently West Ham are willing to give him £100K a week, I wouldn't want to give him £100K a week just to see us through till Coleman gets back, we do have more, important areas in the team to fill imo.

This is why I reckon Martina would be a good option for a year as his wages would be a fraction of that and allow us to put the money else where...

We may as well re-sign Hibbert as to sign Martina mate, he is an absolutely terrible championship calibre footy player

I would do that deal in a blink of an eye but we know that list of players wouldnt happend. We couldnt secure all those players that you mentioned

Secondly when he's sold every penny of the fee should be spent on one replacement.
You don't see Chelsea looking for 4 players to possibly replace Costa or United buying 4 players to replace Zlatan
If and when Rom leaves we need to spend every penny on his replacement
Throw crazy wages at Aguero Cavani or someone of that ilk and I mean 250k a week because there is no way the likes of Dembele will score 24 league goals a season

The goals need to be spread around but it's something we have to do, be it this summer or next, Rom doesn't want to stay and he'll go. I would rather sell now for a massive sum.

No way in hell we are signing Aguero or Cavani on 250k a week wages that's delusional thinking mate. It's ideal of course but not where we are as a club. Any top striker wants CL and those 2 will also want it, and if we could attract those types of players Rom wouldn't want to leave in the first place.

If he wasn't valued so ridiculously high by Watford he'd be a good squad player. He won everything in the air the other night and would be a good option if we wanted a genuine target man up front. He's also got a decent amount of goals for a team down at the bottom.

No point talking about him though because they'd want 30odd million for him which is bonkers.

Absolutely agree. If he was to replace Rom it would be a dreadful signing. If it was to replace Kone then I'd be happy.

We are not Chelsea or Man United, a €75m player is not going to join us.... If Lukaku does move on, it will be a case of reinvesting that money into 2 or 3 players. Getting into the top 4 will take time, but if we do it right and bring in the right young players (like Spurs have done), we can build a team that can one day not just get top 4, but challenge for titles (despite the hype, The Premier League is very poor right now)....

My hope is, we spend €100m in the first week of the window, and convince Lukaku that we can go places...

I think they'd still take him (I'm sure we'd knock a bit of the 10 million price) but I doubt they would pay his wages in the championship. Best we can hope for is a promoted club taking a punt
