He maybe not be tested against top quality opposition but he was Ajax's invisible captain against ManUres exhausted reserves in the UEFA cup final.

But not many Ajax players did turn up that night. Vs Lyon he did well, was good vs Schalke also but in the Eredivise there's not much class in that league so the prem would be a big step up for him but he is a decent player, imo.
